Erin Rice
Erin Rice studied fine arts and art history at Providence College and later received a Master’s of art history from Tufts University in 2010. Her thesis focused on the intersection of kente in contemporary Ghanaian art and issues of intellectual property. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Institut für Kunstgeschichte, Universität Bern. Her dissertation concerns the construction of identity through the use of Nigerian ankara, adire and injiri cloths in everyday life and contemporary art within Nigeria.
